With two state-of-the-art foundries equipped for both Green Sand and Co2 processes, we serve industries that demand accuracy, consistency, and strength in every casting.

Our ARPA 300 Green Sand Line is ideal for medium-sized castings ranging from 10 kg to 80 kg, while our Co2 Molding section specializes in larger and more intricate components between 40 kg and 150 kg. This dual capability allows us to handle everything from custom prototypes to large production runs — all under one roof.

Our Capabilities

At Shilin Cast, precision starts at the mould. Our versatile setup is built to handle everything from medium-sized castings to complex, custom-engineered parts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Green Sand Moulding (ARPA 300)

Our ARPA 300 automatic line delivers uniform compaction, smooth finishes, and repeatable accuracy for castings up to 530 × 530 × 152 mm and 10–40 kg. It’s the ideal choice for customers who need high-quality results in continuous production.

For special designs and medium-batch runs, our pneumatic jolters offer the flexibility of manual work with the precision of automation — producing dense, dimensionally accurate moulds for non-standard sizes.

CO₂ Moulding

Using a sand–sodium silicate mixture hardened by CO₂ gas, this process provides high mould strength, quick curing, and excellent dimensional control — perfect for prototypes, complex designs, and fast-turnaround projects.

Foundry Infrastructure

Melting Facilities

Our melting section combines efficiency and metallurgical control through:

  1. Two Cupola Furnaces – each with 1,300 kg/hour melting capacity

  2. One Induction Furnace – with a 300 kg/hour melt rate

This diverse setup enables us to manufacture both Grey Iron (IS 210:1978) and Ductile Iron (IS 1083) grades efficiently, while maintaining chemical consistency and batch traceability.
We have an installed capacity of 2400 tons per annum for quality castings.

Core Making

At Shilin Cast, our in-house core-making facility ensures total control over quality, accuracy, and lead time. We use both Shell Core and Cold Box systems to deliver precision and consistency for every casting.

Shell Core Process

Ideal for high accuracy and smooth surface finishes, this process supports complex internal geometries and ensures dimensionally stable cores for consistent casting quality.

Cold Box Process

The Cold Box system offers fast curing, excellent repeatability, and superior strength, making it perfect for intricate designs and high-volume production.

CO₂ Core Process

We also manufacture CO₂ cores, including single-part cores, which provide high strength, excellent dimensional stability, and cost-effective versatility for specialized applications.
